The death of a man in Saltcoats last week is not being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed.
The body of the 34-year-old man was discovered at around 5pm on Friday, May 14 at Harbour Point in Saltcoats.
Police and coastguard crews attended the scene.
Initially, police had said that the man’s death was being treated as unexplained.

The man’s family was made aware and messages of condolences poured in on social media as the news broke.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5pm on Friday, May 14, a man was found dead at Harbour Point, Saltcoats. He has been identified as a 34-year-old man and his family have been informed.
“His death is not suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
