A 19-year-old man from Saltcoats has gone missing, with police now appealing for information to help trace the teen.
Jamie Cannon was last seen on Thursday, May 20 around 10am on Kinnier Road. He was reported missing on Saturday, May 22.
He is described as being six foot, one inch tall and was wearing grey jogging bottoms, grey trainers and a blue jacket when he was last seen. He was also carrying a camouflage back pack.
Police Inspector Colin Shearer of Irvine Police Station said: "We are growing concerned for the welfare of Jamie as this is completely out of character for him. His family and friends and extremely worried about him.
"Jamie if you are reading this appeal, I would ask you to make contact with the police or your family or friends to let them know you are safe and well."
Anyone who may have seen Jamie or knows his whereabouts, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident number 1623 of 22 May, 2021.
