THE Viking Café is on a mission to prove that takeaway food can be a healthy option when it opens its doors in Saltcoats this week.
And Wael Mansara and the team of the Countess Street restaurant which offers dine in and take away have expanded the menu to include an extensive range of healthy options for fans of Turkish cuisine offered at this multi-award winning restaurant.
Wael said: “At Viking Cafe we work hard to change the way that takeaway food is prepared and served.
“We use healthy options, a lot of our dishes are plant based and we use coconut milk in most of our sauce based dishes.
“Our goal is to help people enjoy amazing food cooked by our chefs and be able to eat it at home and we do this by using fresh, local ingredients and produce. We cannot wait for people in the Three Towns to enjoy our menu.
“We aim to increase our healthy options menu. Vegan options and our dishes are made in front of the customers using our exclusive ingredients.”
