Ardrossan bowling club opening day 2021.
ARDROSSAN Outdoor Bowling Club was the place to be last Saturday as the club officially opened for the 2021 season.
President David Morrison was ably assisted by his wife Jean who delivered the first jack and bowls to mark the commencement after a difficult period for the club.
David and Jean were welcomed on the green for the opening ceremony by Vice President George Kerr, Treasurer Doug Galloway and Secretary Jim McCracken.
The incoming President paid tribute to members, friends and family that had been lost during the last year and welcomed a number of new members to the club in his opening address.
Members enjoyed a day of bowling in the sunshine with refreshments being heartily welcomed by all.
