Most recently, on June 4, two weeks on from his disappearance, cops made yet another appeal for information to help trace the man.
Sergeant Allen Dodds said: “Despite previous appeals and extensive searches and enquiries to trace Jamie, we have been unable to locate him. As time goes on, we are extremely concerned as he has never been missing before and it is entirely out of character for him not to keep in contact with his family and friends.
“Understandably, his family is extremely distressed by his disappearance and just want to know that he is safe and well. I would urge anyone who has seen Jamie, or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us as soon as possible through 101 quoting reference 1623 of 22 May.”
Police also confirmed that extensive enquiries have already been carried out, and remain ongoing, to try and find Jamie. Specialist units, including dogs, have been deployed in the area, but no trace has been found.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 1623 of 22 May.
