A PROUD Kilwinning gran has spoken of her pride as her grandsons have become the first twins to stand guard at Buckingham Palace.
Jordan and Connor Park, 22, can be seen here standing proudly together as they perform the Changing of the Guard at the Palace.
And it is the first time in history that identical twins have performed this duty.
There has never been a recording of brothers doing this let alone twins, making this a first for the Ayrshire soldiers.
Jordan is in the Queen’s Colour Squadron, part of the RAF regiment and usually spends his time travelling the world doing demonstration marches.
Connor is in the Coldstream Guards, part of the Army based at Windsor Castle who spends his time guarding the Queen’s buildings.
Gran Moira said: “We are so proud of the boys, they have done so well and as they are both usually travelling the world, it is lovely to see them both standing together at Buckingham Palace.”
