HAYOCKS Primary is offering a uniform exchange scheme to help families save money on the cost of kitting out kids for school.

The Stevenston school has asked parents to bring in old uniforms that they don’t need anymore to allow them to give them to other pupils.

And so far a lot of parents have supported the scheme by taking in Hayocks Primary sweatshirts to be recycled.

A similar exchange is running at Irvine Royal Academy, helping people save money on school clothes.

The Hayocks Primary uniforms will be bagged to adhere to COVID restrictions and will be available for parents to pick up from August 17.
