Interested in making or producing your own film? Looking for funding to make it happen? Little Pictures wants to hear from you.

Little Pictures nurtures new talent to make their first funded film in fiction, documentary, animation or experimental genres.

Little Pictures encourages new filmmakers to develop their voice, take creative risks and will help to kick start and develop film talent from across Scotland.

Little Pictures is funded by the National Lottery and the Scottish Government through Screen Scotland and run by GMAC Film.

Up to eight short films of 15 minutes or less and of all forms including fiction, documentary, experimental and

animation will be commissioned in July 2021 and will be developed through training workshops and mentorship

throughout the scheme with up to £2,250 budget. It’s also committed to 50 per cent of the commissions by women.

The applications are open until June 30 2021 at midnight.

Selected filmmakers are expected to join the training workshops in August and September before they go into production. Films will be delivered by February 2022. For further information please contact littlepictures@gmacfilm.com or call project manager Wilma Smith, 07540 94832.
