Two members of staff at Seamill Hydro have tested positive for coronavirus.

The North Ayrshire hotel will remain open and continue to operate as normal while the members of staff are in isolation, due to authorities believing it is safe to do so.

They are working closely with the Health Protection Team at NHS Arran and Ayrshire and the Environmental Health Team at North Ayrshire Council.

Due to the contacts of the positive cases having to self-isolate the hotel is unable to offer the normal level of service to guests and residents in their food and beverage departments.

From the June 17 until June 22, 2021:

  • Orangery Restaurant will be closed
  • The Aura Lounge Bar will be open from 3pm until 10.30pm for drinks for residents only
  • The Arran Lounge will remain closed
  • Al Fresco will be open for food and drinks dependent on weather and for residents only from 3pm to 10pm
  • Leisure facilities and Salon will remain open as normal
  • Breakfast will be served as normal with a full table service
  • Room service hot food will be available from 3pm until 9pm
  • Weddings will go ahead in the Firth Pavilion as planned. There will be no changes to the operation of weddings during this period
