Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man was sexually assaulted on a train heading to North Ayrshire.
On Friday, July 2 the victim boarded the 11.45pm Glasgow Central to Largs service at the rear carriage.
He got separated from his friends and asked another man if he had seen them. The man then sexually assaulted him.
The man is described as a white male in his early 20s, of medium build and around 5’9.
He had blonde curly hair and a nose ring, wearing dark jeans and trainers.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to help with their investigation.
