28-year-old man arrested following a disturbance in Ardrossan
A man has been arrested after reports of a disturbance in the St Andrew's Road area of Ardrossan this lunchtime.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested.
There were reports of a heavy police presence around St Andrew's and St Margaret's Road around lunchtime today.
An eyewitness said that at least two police cars and two vans were at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 12.45 pm on Monday, 2 August, to a report of a disturbance in St Andrew’s Road area of Ardrossan.
"A 28-year-old man has been arrested and enquiries are ongoing into the full circumstances.”
