It was to be a gloriously warm and sunny day to welcome to the return of the Three Towns Growers annual duck race on Sunday, August 1.
A spokesperson for the group said: “What an absolutely fantastic day for the duck race and a massive thanks to everybody who came along and supported us and the event…… even though the race took about an hour!
“Everybody on the board and the volunteers did us proud and what a lovely way to come back to some form of normality after the last year or so.
“Congratulations to the winners of both races. People of the Three Towns and beyond. Take a bow!”
