Three men have been reported injured after a 'group disturbance' at Kilwinning train station this evening [Monday, September 13]
Eye-witnesses said the disturbance involved a large group as 'dramatic' scenes made it difficult to establish the cause of the disturbance.
The injuries of all three men are not believed to be life-threatening. However, Police are appealing for witnesses and more information to establish the cause.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a group disturbance on McGavin Way, Kilwinning, around 6.15 pm on Monday, September 13.
"Three men are reporting injuries at this time but they are not believed to be life-threatening. Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information related to it should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 2744 of 13 September."
