A 16-year-old boy was taken to Crosshouse hospital last night [Monday, September 13] following a number of incidents at Kilwinning train station.
The incident concerning the teenager occurred around 6.15pm and involved a group of people involved in a disturbance on McGavin Way.
Shortly after, two 21-year-old men were reported to have suffered minor injuries.

The Police are now treating both incidents as linked.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a disturbance involving a group of people on McGavin Way, Kilwinning, around 6.15pm on Monday, 13 September.
"A 16-year-old male youth was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
“Two 21-year-old men also suffered minor injuries in a further disturbance nearby, which is being treated as linked.
“Enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.
"Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information related to it should contact us on 101 quoting incident number 2744 of 13 September."
