Pupils at Dalry Primary School made the most of the good weather last week by taking their reading session outdoors.
Seizing the opportunity to get out of the classroom, the children read their class novel together in the sunshine. The session also saw the pupils take part in Read Hour UK, a nationwide event which was held on the UN’s International Literacy Day.
Participants in the event came together to
read books, audiobooks, comics and magazines between 2pm and 3pm on September 8, sharing photos of their afternoons on social media.
Well done to all the Dalry pupils who took part. We hope you enjoyed it.
