North Ayrshire police have reassured residents that more police officers will be on the ground to deal with the ongoing investigation into the two serious incidents that happened over the weekend in Dalry.
Chief Inspector Alan Paterson, Local Area Commander, said: “My thoughts and condolences are with Sean’s family as this will have been devastating to his loved ones.
“Understandably both these incidents have also had a significant impact on the local community. I would like to reassure local residents that we have additional officers on patrol in the area and they can be approached by anyone who may have concerns or information about what happened on Saturday or Sunday night.
“The support and response from locals has been helpful but we still need people to come forward with any information they may have. Please contact officers via 101 quoting reference number 3404 of Sunday, 10 October, 202 .”
