Ardrossan beavers scouts recently met with members of the local Royal British Legion to plant poppy seeds at the Ardrossan war memorial garden.

They also learned how to march, more about the Royal British Legion and what they do.

At the end of the night the beavers were also presented with medals.

Ardrossan explorer scouts are also working with the Royal British Legion by helping to carry out maintenance work at the Ardrossan war memorial gardens.

Their first job was to clear weeds and moss which was obstructing the disabled entrance to the gardens.
