A MAN admitted threatening to turn up at a woman’s house with 40 other people then run her out of town unless she apologised to him.

Gordon Reid, 39, sent Facebook posts and Facebook voice messages which court papers describe as being of a ‘grossly offensive or indecent, obscene or menacing character’ on August 13 and September 12 from his address.

Reid, of Vennel Street, Dalry, stated he was a very dangerous individual and threatened that he and 40 other people would attend the family home of a woman named on the criminal complaint.

The court papers state Reid said he would then run her and her family out of town unless she apologised within 24 hours.

Court papers state also he allegedly left voicemails to the complainer stating that he was a dangerous individual and threaten to attend her family home.

Reid pleaded guilty to the breach of section 127(1)(a) the Communications Act 2003 when his case called last month [Wednesday, December 22].

Sentencing was deferred for reports and his bail was continued.

He will return to court at a later date.
