Youngsters from the 52nd Saltcoats 1st Ayrshire cub scouts took part in their first investiture ceremony in 18 months.
On December 14, they invested 10 cubs into their pack, with two more absent due to isolating.
Section leader Lynne Conaghan said: “It was not our normal ceremony with aspects changed to accommodate risk assessments and maintain distance, with cubs allowed one adult each to attend.
"We included the parents into the ceremony with them awarding their child their necktie.
“The evening ended with a surprise for our cubs.
"They were awarded a youth Foundation award from Scottish HQ, a fabulous achievement.”
