BIG BRANDS have urgently recalled a number of items, warning customers not to eat the products.

Yoplait UK is recalling Frubes Strawberry, Red Berry, and Peach variety packs (9X37g) with a 'best before' date of February 9, 2022.

In a notice posted to Which? Facebook page the retailer states that the products are being recalled due to the items potentially containing small pieces of metal.

According to reports, small pieces of metal have been found in the peach flavour within the multipack, making the product "unsafe to eat".

Customers are being advised to return any recalled items to the stores where they were purchased for a refund.

A Yoplait UK spokesperson said: "At Yoplait, we always put consumers first, and so we are issuing a precautionary recall of a small number of Frubes Strawberry, Red Berry & Peach Variety Packs 9x37g, due to the potential presence of small metal pieces in the peach flavour.

"If you have this product, with a use-by date of February 9, 2022, and it was purchased from the Co-op or a local convenience store, please return it to the store where it was bought for a full refund.

"No other Yoplait or Frubes products are affected by this recall."
