Sunday morning ferries between Brodick and Ardrossan have been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.

Ferry travellers between Ardrossan and Arran have been warned that further travel may also be at risk of short cancellation due to adverse weather.

Further travel services between the island and the mainland are at risk on Sunday, February 20 and Monday February 21.

The heightened risk cancellation comes as Storm Eunice subsides from the UK.

A CalMac service info update said: "Due to forecast severe weather the 0820, 1105 sailings from Brodick and 0945, 1230 from Ardrossan on Sunday are cancelled.

"There will be a review at approx. 1230 for sailings later in the day, please note that the forecast is extremely poor."
