NORTH Ayrshire Council has commenced a phased return of face-to-face services as the latest government guidance allows for a more hybrid form of working.

The first services to resume were the customer service centres in Saltcoats Town Hall and at Bridgegate, Irvine which re-opened on Monday, February 21.

The housing offices in Kilwinning and Dalry are set to re-open on Monday, February 28, alongside the council’s shared health and social care and housing office in Kilbirnie and the shared NHS Ayrshire and Arran facility at Brooksby Medical Centre, Largs.

Doors will remain closed and queue management will be implemented to ensure that the return is carried out in the safest way possible.

Council leader, Joe Cullinane, said: “By taking this approach, we can all soon look forward to the chance to experience some face-to-face meetings and appointments and enjoy the social interactions we have all missed so much.

"We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our residents for their support over the past two years.”
