The incident occurred on Vernon Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A 22-year-old male was arrested and charged following an assault in the early hours of Sunday morning, in Vernon Street, Saltcoats.
Police confirmed that at around 1.20am on Sunday, March 20, two women aged 35 and a 51-year-old man were assaulted.
They were advised to attend hospital to be checked over.
A police spokesperson said: “A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident."
He was expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, March 21.
A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
