PLANS to build 11 new homes in Catrine have been lodged with council officials.
The application by Ayr-based Valley Homes Ltd seeks permission for the development of 10 two-storey semi-detached properties, along with one detached home, on John Street in the village.
The application is the second phase of a planned development on vacant agricultural land owned by Valley Homes – and comes four and a half years after the first phase, for nine properties, was approved by East Ayrshire Council (EAC) planners.
Scottish Water and the Ayrshire Roads Alliance say they have no objection to the application, which also includes 33 parking spaces.
A decision is expected by the end of May.
