Charlie’s Bar in Ardrossan has boosted not just one, but two local organisations with generous donations.

They presented cheques to both McMillan Boxfit and the Ardrossan Whitlees Community centre on Friday, totalling £1,000.

Both donations were for £500 and will help greatly in ensuring they can continue to carry out the great work they do in the local area.

McMillan Boxfit are an entirely voluntary run group who’s aim is to encourage fitness in the local community, who operate from Princes Street in Ardrossan.

While the Whitlees hosts a number of events in the local are from their base in Carrick Place, including offering food each day.
