FIREFIGHTERS up and down the country are being commemorated today on a national day of reflection.
The annual service sees those in the fire service and the general public pause to acknowledge the dedication and sacrificies of firefighters worldwide.
Work will pause for a moment of reflection at 12pm today (May 4) to remember those who died in the line of duty as well as those who dedicate their lives to keep their communities safe from home.
Everyone is invited to join in.
