A TEAM of 15 recently took part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk to raise money for an Ayrshire care support service.

Equal Futures promotes social inclusion for people with a learning disability and autism spectrum disorder in Scotland.

Members of the Ayrshire branch, along with some service users, completed Scotland’s famous fundraiser last week.

Altogether, the team raised £1,900 through their efforts, with the Hunter Foundation still to add on another 50 per cent on top.

Shona Fleming, Ayrshire’s project coordinator said: “It was great to see us all getting together to support people who need help and to tackle issues in society.

“We’re always on the lookout for volunteers, because our services are ever-growing.”
