Some local youngsters got to enjoy a tennis masterclass thanks to the West Kilbride Tennis Club.

It looks like they really got to grips with the game in what turned out to be a stunning day in the village.

They enjoyed the coaching of Brian Griffin, Louise Sansum and Christina McGillion and who knows, maybe the next Emily Raducanu or Andy Murray is amongst this group!

The West Kilbride Tennis Club is a community tennis club formed in 2016 following construction of the new courts situated next to the football pitch at the Kirktonhall Glen.

The facility includes three floodlit artificial grass courts all of which are access controlled and a new clubhouse constructed in 2019.

They welcome players of all ages and abilities whether you are interested in social play or want to be involved in competition. Organised social play is available on Tuesday and Thursday mornings as well as Sunday afternoons.
