The legion
The local branch of the Royal British Legion Scotland paraded at Saltcoats Memorial on Sunday May 8 to mark the 77th anniversary of the Victory in Europe.
A Legion spokesman revealed: “During the service, prayers were also said in support of Ukraine and its besieged population.
“Sirens again sound over a part of Europe as it battles another tyrant.”
He added: “Thanks to all for their support.”
