NORTH Ayrshire police have confirmed that a juvenile will be reported following a fire-raising incident at a Kilwinning park last week.
A trampoline in the town's McGavin Park was reportedly damaged on Tuesday afternoon (June 14), with a social media video appearing to show two young suspects also setting fire to a bin.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said a crew attended the scene shortly before 4pm following "reports of a rubbish fire" in the park.
Kilwinning councillor Donald Reid said a trampoline had been damaged "beyond repair" as a result of the vandalism, while Sergeant Allen Dodds of the Kilwinning Locality Policing Team previously told the Herald that enquiries were "ongoing to establish the full circumstances".
