A WEST Kilbride Primary School student was the big winner in the British Showjumping Scottish Just For Schools Direct Qualifiers in May.
Madison McLachlan, a P7 pupil at the village school, was competing at the Morris Equestrian Centre in Fenwick on May 21.
She, and her pony Who's Woodside Stunner (aka Woody), were victorious in the 60cm class at the event.
Winning this class means they have qualified for national championships, which are to be held in August of this year.
Madison will head down south to the Stoneleigh Horse Show later this summer for the competition.
