THE Whitlees Gala returned to Ardrossan last weekend - and not even the rain could spoil a marvellous day.
This year’s magnificent Gala Court were: King - Braxton McCullock, Queen - Miley Fairell, Prince - AJ Miller, Princess - Page Henrey, Prince - Lyle Milligen, Prince - Maxwell Dunnike, Princess - Aria McCart, Prince - Alfie Workman, Princess - Mollie Thomas, Princess - Niamh Monk.
A spokesperson for organisers The Whitlees Centre said: “The rain may have tried to dampen our spirits at times but we are the Whitlees, we don’t let anything stand in our way to give the community the gala of 2022.
“We all hope you had a great day as we had a ball.”
The event was opened by well-known local postman Jerry Long.
There was some great entertainment on offer for young and old and the organisers said the whole thing was about thanking the community for supporting the Whitlees Centre, especially during the struggles of the pandemic.
