PETROL prices in Cumnock have fallen drastically over the past few days.
In recent months petrol and diesel prices have shot up as a result of the price of crude oil becoming more expensive.
Some garages across Ayrshire saw almost £2 per litre of petrol, while diesel prices shot over the £2 mark.
However, according to petrolprices.com, three sites in and around Cumnock have seen fuel prices reach as low as 165.9p for petrol and 179.5p for diesel per litre.
In comparison, petrol sites elsewhere in Ayrshire are over 20p more expensive.
Two petrol stations in Ayr have reached 186.9p per litre, while a station in Saltcoats has reached 187.9p per litre. A station in Irvine has reached 185.9p per litre.
