A DRINK driver has been fined and banned from the roads after being caught almost three times over the limit.
Robert Barbour, 47, was found to be in charge of a vehicle on Shore Road in Stevenston on September 26, 2020 with 82mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit in Scotland is 22mcg/100ml of breath.
Barbour, of Morris Moodie Avenue, pleaded guilty and was fined a total of £540 at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court last week.
He was also disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 21 weeks.
