THE latest police appeal to help trace a missing Stevenston teenager has placed her in the Manchester area.

Emma Goddard was reported missing from Stevenston on Thursday, September 1.

Police now say the 14-year-old last seen in the Market Street area of Manchester around 9pm on Monday, September 5, 2022.

According to police, the teen has also been known to use the names Aster and Connor and is described as white, around 5ft 5in in height, with short red/auburn hair, which may now be coloured with a blue dye.

Emma wears glasses and was last seen wearing black clothing with a blue jacket and carrying several black bags.

The last siting of Emma prior to Monday was on Saturday, September 3, when police reported that she had been spotted in McDonald's on St Andrews Street in Edinburgh.

Emma is known to use the train and had previously travelled as far as Fife and Blackpool.

Inspector Jamie Lyall from Police Scotland said: “Since Emma was reported missing we have been carrying out significant enquiries and it is now believed that Emma has travelled to the Manchester area.

“I am appealing for anyone with any information on Emma’s whereabouts to contact us. I would also appeal to Emma herself to get in touch with us or family and friends.”
