THREE men have been arrested and charged in Kilwinning in relation to an alleged drugs bust in the town.
Ayrshire Police's Proactive Crime team attended a property in Pennyburn, and today, September 26, confirmed that they recovered 395g (approx 14oz) of herbal cannabis and a "large sum of cash".
Three males were arrested and charged in connection with the find - aged 31, 29 and 17.
A report has now been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Ayrshire Proactive Crime Team attended a property in Pennyburn, Kilwinning where 395g of herbal cannabis and a large sum of cash was recovered.
"A 31, 29 and 17-year-old male were arrested and charged in connection with the find.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
