AN AYRSHIRE street artist has been leaving his mark in Irvine and Kilwinning recently - with three more colourful murals appearing around the towns.

Talented Tragic O'Hara has added his touch to underpasses and walkways throughout the area in recent months and his latest work has been well received by online fans.

One mural, titled Snowball ii, was spray painted onto a metal window cover along a path under Irvine mall, while another piece of artwork called Penguins without Permission appeared on a wall under the Baillie Bridge.

And Tragic's spray painting spree has not stopped there - as a further creation popped up on an underpass between Pennyburn Road and Blacklands Primary School in Kilwinning, described by the artist as an "old, leaky, scabby looking tunnel that I have never once walked through without a massive puddle inside it".

Commenting on his Facebook page, one social media user said of the Kilwinning art (above): "This is brill, brings a bit of life to a horrible dark tunnel."

Referencing a separate mural completed earlier this year on the side wall of the Home Hardware store in Saltcoats, another wrote: "Looks amazing! My little two-year-old boy is mesmerised with your wall in Saltcoats, he could stand all day pointing at all the fish and the bubbles. Keep up the great work!"

While another person praised the penguin piece: "This will brighten up my day when I walk past this with the kids, love it!"
