An annual Santa dash is returning to Beith this weekend to raise money for the local community.
The Beith Juniors Community Football Club’s 2022 Santa dash will see Santas running, jogging, and walking around Beith Astro this Sunday, December 18 at 12pm.
While the dash is free to enter, there will be a donation bucket on the grounds where people can donate towards the improvements at Beith Public Park and its outdoor gym and skatepark.
Coach Colin Hunter said: “After a fun warm-up, participants will start the dash/run/walk and see how far they get round the astro in 30 minutes.
“Ideally the dashers will be wearing something Christmassy as the Christmas songs are blasted out from the astro speakers.
“It's always a good family event and a healthy way to get set up for Christmas.”
Anyone can enter the dash no matter their involvement with the club and those who wish to participate can simply show up on the day – just make sure to remember your Santa hat or Christmas jumper.
