A BEITH based cycling shop is hoping to be able to assist local people in getting back on the bike soon.

It comes as RT Cycles and Fishing, based on Main Road, secured funding from Cycling Scotland for a block of £50 repair vouchers.

The voucher can be used against any repair whether it be a basic service or as part of a comprehensive overhaul. This grant from Cycling Scotland does restrict repairs to one bike per household.

RT Cycles and Fishing plan to start allocating vouchers once they return to their normal operating hours on January 9.

Anyone who is interested in this scheme can register their interest with the store via their Facebook page.
