A KILBIRNIE woman is one of five accused of supplying cocaine and heroin in North Ayrshire.

Linsey Sangster, of Castle Drive, faces three charges along with four co-accused, all from Largs.

Ms Sangster, 37, along with Christopher Trodden, John McNeil, Colin Watson and Carla Cooper all pleaded not guilty to the alleged offences.

At Mr Trodden's address in Waterside Street, Largs last October, Ms Sangster is accused of intentionally obstructing a police officer by attempting to discard drug paraphernalia, namely a pipe, by placing it on a window sill, and attempting to hide a controlled drug, namely cocaine.

All five of the accused are charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin.

Ms Cooper was also allegedly caught in possession of cannabis.

Each of the accused pleaded not guilty and a trial date was set for the end of April. Bail was continued for all five.
