A WOMAN was found dead in a Saltcoats home over the weekend.
Police say there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, though a report will still be sent to the procurator fiscal.
Officers were called to the scene, a property in St Cuthbert's Court, late on the morning of Sunday, February 26.
Here, a 47-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed: “Around 11am on Sunday, 26 February, police were called to an address in St Cuthbert's Court, Saltcoats.
“A 47-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
