A prestigious Glasgow choir is making a return visit to St Cuthbert’s Church in Saltcoats.

The City of Glasgow Chorus has nearly 40 years’ experience and has provided backing for superstars like Russell Watson and Lesley Garrett and performed at international sporting events.

The choir will perform at the Campbell Avenue venue on Sunday, April 23 at 3pm.

Their last appearance at St Cuthbert's six years ago was hugely successful.

As well as their regular concerts in and around the city, the singers are often seen and heard in support in the choir stalls in the Royal Concert Hall.

Since it was founded in 1983, the City of Glasgow Chorus has established itself as one of the biggest independent choral groups in the West of Scotland and a significant player in Scotland’s arts environment with approaching 80 members.

This special concert is an opportunity not to be missed for music lovers.

Admission is free with a retiring collection being taken to be shared by the Chorus and the church.
