POLICE say a 15-year-old girl reported missing near a main Ayrshire road has been found safe and well.
Rachel Allan, from Lochwinnoch, was reported missing nearly 24 hours after being last seeen in Kilbirnie Road in the town - which forms part of the major A760 road connecting the area with Ayrshire.
She had last been seen at around 6.30pm on Sunday, April 30 - but was traced on Monday evening.
A police spokesperson said: "Rachel has now been traced. Thank you for your assistance in sharing this appeal."
