UPDATE: Police have now (Wednesday May 24) confirmed that Stuart, Millie and Ellie-Mae have been traced safe and well.

 

POLICE have made a desperate appeal after three 13-year-olds were reported missing from the Three Towns.

Stuart McGrath and Millie Steevley from Ardrossan and Ellie-Mae Young from Saltcoats were last seen at their respective homes on Monday, May 22 at around 8.15am.

Since then, no one has received any contact from the teens, who police believe to be together.

Now, they are asking for the public's assistance to help trace the trio.

Stuart is described as five feet and four inches tall with short auburn hair.

When he was last seen, he was known to be wearing school uniform and a black gillet.

Ellie-Mae is described as being five feet and seven inches tall with long brown hair. There was no description of what she was last known to be wearing.

While Millie is five feet and five inches tall with long blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing a black Nike long-sleeved running top with black Nike leggings and white high top trainers.

Police are urging anyone with information to come forward, as their concern for the teenagers grow.

Sergeant Caroline Mowbray said: “Our concern for Stuart, Ellie-Mae and Millie is growing, given their age and the fact that no-one has heard from them. 

“We just want to know they are safe and well. If anyone has seen them or has any information as to their whereabouts, please contact us.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4144 or 4210 of May 22.
