AMBULANCE crews were called to the scene of a crash at a busy junction near Mauchline on Monday morning.
Police were alerted to a crash involving a car and a tractor near the Crosshands junction on the A76 shortly before 11am on May 29.
Motorists have often voiced their concerns about the potentially dangerous nature of this stretch of road.
No injuries have currently been reported for Monday morning's incident, but police say ambulances were called.
The road is currently believed to be open.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.50am on Monday, 29 May, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving a vehicle and a tractor on the A76 at Crosshands junction.
"Ambulance have been contacted."
