A fallen oak tree in Brodick Castle's gardens has been transformed into a bench and sculpture - with every seat shaped like an apple.
The work was carried out by local wood carver Rob Coia and was unveiled in the castle's grounds recently.
A spokesperson for Brodick Castle, Gardens and Country Park revealed on Facebook: "Our new sculpture in the Walled Garden is from an oak tree that fell down during a storm here.
"It was given to local wood carver, Rob Coia, who made this bench for us. Each apple is a seat.
"It ties in with the apple trees that were planted last year and also a nod to the past productive nature of the walled garden."
