The 80s ska and pop band Madness will be heading to Middlesbrough later this week as the group fronted by Suggs (Graham McPherson) takes on a mega summer show.

They will be playing at Albert Park in the town, bringing their funky beats and classic hits to the North East for fans to enjoy.

The Our House hitmakers will be following the likes of Arctic Monkeys who played at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough on Monday (June 5) as part of their UK tour this year.

Madness will be performing at Albert Park on Friday, June 9 before playing at Delamere Forest, in Cheshire and The Piece Hall in Halifax next week.

The gates at the venue will open at 5pm and Madness will take to the stage at 8.30pm on the evening and finish at around 10.30pm.

Please note: This is a no re-entry event. Re-entry to the festival is not permitted, with the sole exception of parents/guardians accompanying children under the age of 16.

The support acts for Madness at Albert Park will be Hollie Cook, who is set to bring her soulful and reggae rhythms when she takes to the stage at 6.15pm.
