AN EXCITING new business is set to open in Saltcoats in the near future.

Hank Marvins Street Food is to open on Countess Street in Saltcoats, and has teased that its opening date is "coming soon".

The fast food restuarant has said it will bring "the best food and flavour" when it opens inside the former Speed Chinese takeaway.

The business has been advertising for staff across the past couple of weeks as final preparations for opening day begin - and the wide array of food which will be on offer has already been made clear.

Last week, the owners released the vast menu which will be on offer at Hank Marvins.

It offers a number of comfort food options which we are sure will go down a treat.

Included are a selection of sharing boxes, pasta dishes, wraps, loaded fries, chicken tempura dishes, beef and chicken burgers, loaded fries, nachos, wings, fajitas and a selection of sides.

The 'something different' section includes both a sirloin steak and a very intriguing salt and chilli Yorkshire pudding.

If you are looking for something sweet, the menu also has a desserts section - and offers the firm favourite Tango Ice Blasts.

The restaurant will also be offering weekly specials, which it has said customers will get the chance to have a say in.

It commented: "Whoever creates best ideas, you never know, you might get a free meal!"

Hank Marvins is still advertising for an experienced kitchen cook and kitchen assistant to join the team in Saltcoats.

While it already appears to have filled a number of counter staff roles.

Though no official opening date has been set, the sign is well and truly in place in Saltcoats, and job advertisements claims it is hoping to open during the first week of August.
