An amazing couple from Dalry have just celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Hugh and Elizabeth Orr, who now live in Ardrossan's South Beach Care home, marked the incredible occasion on Saturday.
Staff threw a party for the special couple, who enjoyed a second celebration with family members the following day.
Hugh, 95 and Elizabeth, 94, were described by the care home as "a lovely couple who remain very close".
Mr Orr came in to South Beach Care Home while his wife was in hospital - and when she was released, Elizabeth joined him there.
The couple are pictured above on their wedding day in 1955.
