A KILWINNING pair have confessed to carrying out a seven-month campaign of terror against a former neighbour in Ardrossan.

Nicola Harvie, 25, and 27-year-old Scott Duffy pleaded guilty to a series of charges relating to incidents in Ardrossan’s Dairymead Place between October 1, 2022 and May 8 this year.

The pair admitted behaving in a threatening or abusive manner towards their then neighbour by repeatedly acting in an aggressive manner, repeatedly shouting and swearing at them, aiming abusive remarks at them and threatening violence.

They also pleaded guilty to a further charge of causing fear and alarm by their threatening or abusive behaviour – this time against police officers in an incident in Ardrossan’s Hunter Drive on May 8 this year, when they acted aggressively, repeatedly shouted and swore and uttered threats.

Harvie admitted a third charge around a further incident in Hunter Drive on May 8, when she resisted police by tensing her arms, pulling away from them and lashing out at the officers.

Sentence was deferred and the pair – now of Fergushill Road, Kilwinning – were released on bail; they will return to court at a later date.
